We hope that you will join us on Tuesday, March 15, at 5:30 PM as the City of Omaha's Community Development Division hosts a virtual public meeting covering three topics summarized below. The meeting will last approximately 1.5 hours. Public comment for all three topics closes March 21, 2022.
The 2021 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Review (CAPER) will provide a summary of the work that was completed in 2021 using Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership funds, and Emergency Solutions Grant funds.
A substantial amendment to the 2019 Annual Action Plan will reallocate $2,010,184.00 in CDBG Cares Act CV3 funds from MACCH to Family Housing Advisory Services (FHAS) for a short-term rental assistance program. The project is anticipated to benefit 335 low- and moderate-income households at risk of eviction.
The Citizen Participation Plan is being amended to allow for greater flexibility to provide virtual public hearings, among other editorial changes.
This meeting will be recorded and posted to our Facebook and YouTube pages after the meeting.
